costa rican tiger rump

does anyone know about the basic care of a tiger rump. I need to know what substrate, feeding, enviornment, etc.

Mine lives happily on peat, about 6 inches deep. Bone dry on top to avoid mites. Cork bark hide, webbed up into a tube. Regular periods of fasting and hiding. Very hardy. Takes crickets easily. Big feeder for it's size. Very fast.

Yeah real easy to care for IMO. Mine is a big eater. I also keep mine on dry peat like Luther :D

do they require a lot of humidity? like light misting of the terrarium

Overflowing the water dish to make a small damp patch of substrate would be enuff for an juv to adult.

No, there is no need to " MIST " keep em dry with a water dish and some DRY peatmoss and some cork bark on a 45 degree angle...they will web there own shelter...very good eaters and very hardy spiders...very easy to care for...
