i just rehoused my a.vic spiderling to a slightly bigger enclosure.
its about 4 inches tall and about 3 wide for a 1.25 inch spider
its only been a day an i know its probably still settling down but generally how long does it take for a T to settle in?
and is it safe to feed it? i ont want to stress it, but it just molted an i'm sure its hungry.

oh and webbing is usally a sign of being comfortable in its surroundings, yes?
(hasnt webbed at all)

If it just molted, you need to wait a few days(I wait 4-5 days) for its fangs & body to harden.

As for settling in. I just got a 1" H. maculata. I rehoused her and she ate within a couple of hours.

I usually feed within a couple days of rehousing. I may take it quite a bit longer to settle in and start webbing, but there is no harm in feeding so long as you have waited long enough after the molt.

btw, if she doesn't eat, don't stress it. I've had several not eat for weeks after a molt. They'll eat when they're hungry.
