It's starting to get some of the blue irridescence I've noticed in pics around the 'net of this species. In many of those photos, I'm not sure how much of that blue irridescence is natural, and how much is Photoshop, though, but I do remember that first pic I ever saw of this species, submitted by a VERY "non-spider person" who didn't even know it was a tarantula, did have a lot of blueish-purple irridescense, much like a mature P. canceredes or one of the Pampho species. It would be great to have another "blue" T on the market, that's pretty docile AND lacking urticating hairs, for those poor souls who are sensitive to them!

Another molt - still just under 1"

These have a lot of coloration / hair for being so small...

I think right now in the US they're going for about $25 or so for a sling.

Looks like that'll be a nice looking T when it's grown :)
Looks to me like it has very long legs. Is that a trait in this species, or OW spiders?

Hi Avi,

Welcome to AB! Great pictures! I love how even its "toes" on its pedipalps are spread in that last picture.

By the way, I started looking through your Flickr gallery and I must say that you have some great pictures in there! What kind of camera(s) do you use? I love the detail in the macro shots, as well as the face shots of the people in your album.

It was some sort of hissing i think it's called stridulation or smthin. I'm not sure how it works but i already read it, try to search for it.
