Centipede Identification

Hi there,

Was wondering if anyone knew the species name for this Centipede I just bought. The seller did not know but it is an Australian species.

Probably Rhysida nuda.

Oh ok thanks for your reply. I have actually got two Nudas and they look more brown with blue legs. Could this be a closely related species to the Rhysida Nuda?

Perhaps, but one must bear in mind that centipedes come in an enormous array of colour variations, even within a given species.

That's true. Have you seen other Nudas with blue bodies? Nice channel btw

I've only ever seen two nuda in real life, both with metallic grey bodies. However, I do recall seeing pics of ones with a bluish tinge. Maybe it's just lighting.

Also, thanks for the sub! I'm on school holidays now, with lots of spare time, meaning my collection can go rogue.
