Heres the layout.

Solid Oak
Front Glass and Secure Top, double access
Vents, Golden Oak Stain, water proof and custom for pedes.

I'll ask for permission to post pix so coming weeks i'll update as needed. :p

what are the dimensions? i think the base may need to be a bit wider

D16" X W22" X H20" Custom made to put on top of my drawer.

I think I see what you are doing , but don't under any circumstances let the front open. There is WAY too much room for a quick animal like that to escape before you know it your slamming the lid and cutting your pet in half! The top looked cool though.

I disagree.

If the front opens down...it should be OK because the pede couldn't scramble up the smooth surface. If the hinges block the way, then the pede couldn't get out through the bottom.

Of course, this still leaves the sides.
