I just got two itty bitty slings. One Hapalopus sp. Large and one Cyriocosmus elegans. They are both 3/8"-1/4" with the pumpkin patch being a little bigger than the elegans.
I have them in 2oz deli cups with 2 rows of holes all around the side (poked with a thumbtack) and a few holes in the top.
Yesterday I fed them. I took a small cricket about 3/8" and crushed it's head, gave the body to the Hapalopus and the back legs to the elegans. This morning the Hapalopus had eaten the cricket body, but the elegans had left the cricket legs and buried itself under the substrate.
Do you think the elegans is in premolt?
