Canada - regulations about phasmids

Is it leagal to keep phasmids in Canada? Or are permits needed?

You can contact the CFIA to find out what is legal to bring into the country.
Phasmids, along with most non-native insects are illegal to import/possess without special permits, which they don't hand out easily.
It is too bad because some phasmids are very interesting.
