Well, due to the "belly band", you can most definitely count out P. fasciata. I'm not a taxonomist, but I'd put my $$$ on P. regalis.

ID pokie males is hard, but he has the regalis band on pic#2 so I would say regalis

I'd have to say regalis as well. Looks almost identical to my mature male.

Yeah, do *not* breed it with your female P. fasciata. It's better to not breed at all than produce a potential hybrid. So as not to start a flame war, this is just my personal opinion.

Good luck in whatever you decide!

Could not get a good look on the legs, but the abdominal banding say regalis
and the carapace say regalis so I say regalis.

That would be a regalis. I dunno if this helps much, but here's a quick pic I took of my male, since his underside was mostly visible. The pink band on the underside is a dead giveaway.

Yep, I can tell you right now that it's P. regalis by the "belly band" as well as the ventral leg patterns.
Find somebody with a female regalis!! Heck, I cant imagine it being very hard to find someone with a male fasciata either....I have more than I know what to do with, LOL
