Hi all,
So this afternoon I found my Gbb in a deathcurl. He/she molted two nights ago in a very very tight spot, so I was already a bit worried, but i'm having a bad case of the stomach flu, and trusting that spiders will be best in spidering, left it be.
Well, I guess that doesn't always go.It dried up wrong, probably because it decided to harden up in the same tight spot, which doesn't make sense at all, he has a big webbing castle to retreat to, but chose this instead.
It can move, but very wobbly, his motions are very stiff and awkward. Its abdomen is small/shriveled as well. Seeing this, I coaxed it over to the waterdish, to put its mouthparts in the water which he did. Now he is sitting on a wet spot next to the waterdish (spilled some), but is slow to respond.
I'm not sure what else to do. ICU doesn't seem right since this is an arid species. Temps were same as always, 20/22°C, nothing out of the ordinary. Bodylength is around 3/3,5 cm. Estimated DLS approx. 10cm.
I hope it pulls through but I doubt it.
. This feels crap, it is one of my two first slings, and had i think 1 or 2 molts to go to adult.

Edit: I know the pics are blurry, but it is the best I can do.
