Bug ID. Found inside my truck. 6 legs

Never seen anything like this before. Looks like a tiny praying mantis but it’s not. Walks like a stick bug. Very slow and methodical.

Thank you !!!! That was it whoa an assassin bug. Good thing I used a napkin and pen because sounds like they have a painful bite lol.

Don't worry, it is still a nymph. Probably not much it could do to you.

They aren't aggressive. They'll make quick work of other bugs - but typically only bite humans in self defense. I keep assassin bugs as pets (I currently have four different species - and have kept various local species as well, at least short term, that I've caught myself) and have never been bitten. They don't go out of their to bite people. If you were to pinch-grab one or close it in your hand, that would be perceived as a threat and likely result in a painful bite/stab, but if you were to just let it walk onto your hand without trying to grasp it or squash it, it would perceive you as just part of the "furniture" and ignore you.
