My P marg's had babies about a month ago, and the babies still have small abdomens and havent molted that i can see. I was giving them the smallest B lateralis i could find for a while, but realized they were too big (about the size of a D melanogaster). So i regularly put springtails in as food, but those seem to disappear into the substrate. The babies have started dying so now im really worried. The only idea i have is to replace the coco fiber substrate with charcoal and water to make a springtail farm in the enclosure. Any immediate issues with that? Any other ideas?

I feed my baby barbadensis cushed/prekilled little kenyan roaches or red runner chunks, they take them no problem

Yeah they'll scavenge as babies - if they haven't been separated from mom she'll kill prey for them, but if they're been separated early you'll want to offer pre-killed. You can even give them oversized pre-killed prey.
