At what point do LP's start growing fast?

I have done. Meal worms...crickets...he's not taken the last 5 offerings.

I am going through the same thing with my little lp. But I think my little one is for sure in premolt its rump has turned almost black it is on swell and it hangs out on the damp side of the container.

Since those photos yesterday the wee things hair patch has almost disappeared. Is this...a good thing? Seems awful quick.

Well I was right my little one ended up molting today its hair patch went light then the next thing I new it was black which turned on jan 11th then molted today. I didnt get it until dec 15th 2011 I could not tell when it molted before I got it though I can tell you I keep my t room at 77f with a and I feed it twice a week. I hope you get a molt soon.

This is something to keep in mind.

I feed my tarantulas according to their abdomen size.
Once they begin to get large like that, I slow down, or stop until they molt, if they appear "too" large.

I'm feeding it still because he's refused food for around 4 weeks maybe 5 now and i was advised by members here to try once a week, which I am doing. He's not eaten yesterday, I'll try him next week.
