Today I made a few pics of my little assassin bugs (Platymeris biguttatus)
I found one under the bark eating a big fly (which I caught for him/her :p )

"Got to turn my pray, so the damn photographer can make a better shot" :D

These 2 where watching the other one eating the fly :)

The others where hiding under the bark, or where just to fast for my lens ;)

I rebuilded an old 10 gallon aquarium, which I devided in 2 parts, so in fact I became 2 tanks of 5 gallon each :)
I also made 2 plastic tops with a ventilation hole.

In one part I keep P. biguttatus. The other part is reserved for P. rhadamanthus, but these guys are still in there eggs :D

Here are some pics of my tank:

I think it's actually cheaper at www.corkstore.com

Someone listed an even cheaper spot y et, but I lost the URL.

I want cork bark pretty bad, but I'm too lazy to order it over the net.

I'm such a bum.

My pet store sells cork at 9.99 a pound. I used a lot of it when building my terrarium, since its a great material for use in humid environments. If you really want good prices try my favorite store in the world, www.ebay.com

they should have some pretty good prices. Last time I checked I saw 5 pounds for 20 bucks

Hmm...here in Belgium yoy can find corkbark in almost any petstore who sells tropical fish or reptiles and stuff :)

The last time I bought one I was very lucky...I found a piece that measured about 16", and I only had to pay 1 euro...that's $ 1 I guess.
The young girl didn't knew they normally sell these things for 9 euro/kg. I can say that piece was over 1kg :D
