saw some scorpions in burrows last night near my house. they looked pretty small but i didn't see them very well. just know they were scorps cause of the blacklight. i will probably try to catch them if their sting won't do any severe damage. also how do i catch them if they go straight back to the burrow every time i com close?

Maybe try a pit trap if they move on the ground? I have C. Sculpturatus and they live together in the winter in the wild (I keep mine communally year round) so I don't think venom potency is a factor in how social they are.

There are no medically significant scorpions in Southern California.
