Are there any Polydesmids from SA in the hobby?

While I was in Peru in 1998, we collected a Polydesmid milli about 4" long.

I have wanted to find them in the hobby ever since but haven't seen them anywhere. Does anyone on these forums keep them? Do these show up at all on import lists? If so, I would certainly be interested to hear about it.

The animal in this link is very similar to the one we found. It was amazingly heavily armored and was way cool.

I keep Coromus vittatus vittatus, also polydesmids.
If u would like to check my website, there are several pics on these really cool millies and also a video of them while mating.

I am not that familiar with the Genera within the Polydesmidae. Do you have more information on Coromus?

I am just amazed the family is not better represented in the hobby. Particularly the Barydesmus spp. show in the link above. Some of these grow 4-5 inches long!

BTW: I need an URL to your site.

Thank you in advance,
Sincerely,
Paul E. Turley
