Androctonus australis odd behavior

My juvenile A. australis recently stood on its "tiptoes" and dragged its metasoma (on the anus) across the sand. After doing this for a few centimeters, it dropped down and began forcefully dragging its body along the ground. It soon stopped and went back to normal. I have never seen this behavior and am wondering if it's normal and why it happens.

Maybe it pooped. My emperor would stretch out like that and drop a duce minus the tippy toe part lol.
