Agelenopsis care?

I’ve seen a lot of these over the years and I’m hoping this year to raise a few. Is the care similar to wolf spiders, or do they have poor track records in captivity?

They do fine in captivity from my experience. Unlike wolves, they need some sort of structure to make their funnel web underneath. I just lean pieces of bark or leaves against the side of the enclosure and they use that. Once they're settled in, just throw in a cricket every now and then and occasionally spray some water on the web.

Wow that will be easy then, except I can only culture mealworms (no crickets or roaches in the house)

Mealworms will work fine too. In fact they might actually be better since they get stuck in the web a bit easier.
