So yesterday I gathered a bunch of Mourning Cloak caterpillars along with plenty of willow for them to munch. Today i noticed several little stowaways! At least they look much different then the other caterpillars. Are these the same spp. or a different one?

thanks so much.

The tank now with the Mourning Cloak Pillars:

...and the stowaways! They are about 1.5cm (1/2 in) long and are eatting their share of willow leaves.

Edit: I'm dubious that these are also Mourning Cloak. As they have a different number of vestigial legs.

If they have more than 5 prolegs, they're some sort of sawfly larva.
