Temp was always a bigger factor than diet for me when I bred these for several years. If anything, you could add a quality sourced grain to boost protein and see if you have any noticeable difference. I suspect it would be minimal.
I think you are over analyzing a normal observation of a healthy and robust tripepii. Appears to be plenty of moisture and poo in the enclosure. Cancel her ICU visit and your reservation at the psych ward. :wacky:
Re Roaches: Lats smell unique (bad if you ask me) and dubias burrow in your T's enclosure. Pick your poison. I chose dubias and spend the time necessary monitoring at feedings, which has actually never gotten old for me. For tiny slings, even the smallest dubias are too big, so I end up...
Does not look like pre-molt, but does not mean it isn't. At that size, the abdomen will darken and actually look glossy 2-5 days before the molt occurs. My boehmei will fast quite awhile before visible pre-molt occurs . Your sub is fine. Eco earth is my personal choice and I would stick with...

Cedar and pine are contraindicated for use as bedding for small mamillian pets. There are better choices of hardwood. I have used cottonwood bark collected as driftwood in the occasional true spider set up without issue, but never with my T's. These pieces also sat for a very long time in an...
Slightly odd one of three would flounder in same or similar conditions. That's 98% survival rate you have though. Not bad. If you are new to raising slings, you are doing many things right. I can relate to your dissatisfaction though. I'm that way too and dwell (often too long) when things...
Considering few details and time of your post, the correct advise (assumptions aside) could only be given if we knew exactly how much time had elapsed. The vast majority of the time, especially if your husbandry is correct, things are fine and many are best not jumping to conclusions and...
If mine don't hop on feeders immeditaely, I'll pull them from the enclosure. Sounds not interested and going to molt. Speed has never been an issue for an incei in my care. You are feeding very often which covers hydration needs and they grow fast. I'd give it some time off from feeding and...
Try coconut fiber (90%) and sphagnum moss (10%). It holds moisture and provides a nice structure for small burrowing terrestrial slings such as your hentzi.
Use a forceps, grab it just behind the head. Let it wiggle around and get your spiders attention, if interested crush the head a bit and let it go. It won't burrow because you maimed it, yet it will still move enough (and be safe) for your spider to grab it. I'm not sure I'd bother breeding...
It depends on what you are keeping. Care sheets give you a decent idea about what humidity requirements your species needs. Spritzing the substrate will increase the humidity and is a tried and true method of increasing humidity inside an enclosure. I live in a dry climate too, especially in...
