Best place to get dubias? also questions

I keep mine in an 8 gallon plastic tub with a large window, around 70%, cut out on the lid and screen on with hot glue. I keep mine is the garage with ambient temp (50-80 f) in southern California. There is no substrate in the tub. I use egg crates (from local restaurants) trimmed so that...

Which is better Cmbridgae, Regalis or Formosa

I keep my spiders at room temperature, no heat no ac, coldest would be in the high 40s in winter, and occasional mid 90s in summer, but most of the year they are in the 70-80 range. I'm in Southern California.

Which is better Cmbridgae, Regalis or Formosa

Both are fast when they want to be. P camb is better if you are new to this, but they don't live as long. The males usually hook out in less than a year. How do i pre-kill dubias the humane way?

Just a thought, so it is humane to let the roach to be grabbed and dissloved or digested alive by the tarantula, but to crush the head or cut it to pieces isn't. This isn't the humane type of hobby.

    Emergency food for dubias .

Please define spoiled fruits and veggies. I do feed my colony with some really brown and over ripe bananas, semi spoiled apples or fruits (nothing moldy) and whatever that I won't eat from my fridge. They eat them all up.

    Pokie Communal?

I have kept P regalis and P striata in communal without losing any of the spiders. Currently I have several P regalis in a communal. If provided with enough prey items, I don't think they would eat each other. But if there aren't enough food, I think it can be a different story. After all...

What is your feeder set up for ease of use?

Dubias are the feeders of choice, I keep them in large plastic tubs with glued on screen, on large cut out lid. They got egg crates, no substrate. When I feed, I would pick up an egg crate tap it inside another large tub, put them in a sterile plastic shoe box, and feed to them to the Ts. And...
