Well, I guess we all don't have to agree, haha... if they were simply going for the reason you're saying, it would make more sense to me if they used some other type of non-collector car... maybe a '98 chevy cavalier, for example, hahaha. I enjoy my cavalier... but if I saw that ad I'd know...
