He looks more like a gangling teenager instead of an old man. Pulchras are on my ownership list...so dapper.

So pretty! Either she's fending you off or she expects you to feed her...lol. I really like the way the padded feet look.

Uhh... P. miranda or P. vittata or P. regail ...the dull color of this picture makes it hard for me to tell. One of those three, though.

    Just found her/him like this...

One thing I'd also suggest is using these forums to look up "bad molt" problems. THESE are the problems that you should watch out for. Most of the time as long as environmental essentials are met there are no issues...but its always good to be prepared. The search can also help you identify how...

    I'm new to this world

Just my two cents here...I would say that A LOT of the fun is watching your T's grow from a little speck of attitude into a much larger specimen. The molting process, the change in behavior from spiderling to adulthood...many amusing and enjoyable steps are missed out by skipping straight to the...

    P. atrichomatus died - how and why??

I do not know if this applies to T's but I figured another suggestion/idea wouldnt hurt (since this is a baffling mystery still at large). Let's say that the T was captured in the wild. Some animals (of typically much higher intelligence) exhibit depressive behaviors when they are removed from...

I personally would tape a fine mesh over that corner and watch for spiderlings to emerge. When they do I would then take the cage outside, lift the mesh, and let it sit outside in the shade somewhere for a couple days. No harm, no foul.

    G. Pulchripes becomes aggressive.

Something else to keep in mind is that T's react to stressful environments in different ways. The G. pul might be ill-tempered because of too much direct light or perhaps too many loud noises/thuds. Does she/he kick hairs and/or dart around the cage much? ...yeah, a little more description would...
