Literally my first time posting anything on this site, and the first time I have ever openly ventral sexed... so don't kill me if I'm wrong, but pretty sure that's a dude. Haha. I'm used to being crucified on Facebook pages for even thinking about ventral sexing.. lol.
Lol don't fret. I was thinking female because I don't see the "dot" that the males of this species is supposed to have. I'm just waiting for whenever @WebBrowser gets back online cause they so generously offered to see if they could sex it for me
This is a tough shot to tell. I know finding an opening between the webbing and positioning these guys can be a pain. But if you can maybe get a little closer without losing too much focus I would feel better before jumping to any conclusions. Otherwise just wait another month or so for the next molt, shouldnt be too long at that size! Also, around 4-5" you can be more certain because males will start to brown out earlier than their ultimate molt.
@WebBrowser okie dokes ^-^ if I happen to get any good central shots I'll tag you in them. I just tried to get some now and it is not wanting to leave the little dirt web/tunnel it made. At most I've succeeded in stressing it out x.x
