Sold as H. Devamatha but molted into this

This is a strange coloration for an H Devamatha lol. Anastasia thinks it’s a Himalayana.
What did it look like before? I have limited experience with either species, but from what i can see i wouldn’t rule out H. himalayana, but j also don’t know if H. devamatha goes through a drastic change upon maturation of males.

Himalayana for sure.

H devamatha is clearly Hdeva its entire life. On maturity they (males and females) appear different than most pix you see, but in no way do they look like that^

@Theneil - They were just a very typical no pattern brown sling to my untrained eye. XD

I’ll post pics on this post if I can figure out how without starting a whole new post.

Also this is still a sling so not maturing male yet. It’s about 1.5”

Before it developed the coloration it had done typical Devamatha things like building dirt turrets... etc. So I thought nothing of it. Lol

I’ve contacted the seller but no response as of yet. Anyone know the procedure in this situation? I’ve grown fond of the little guy. Lol

@BoredObsessions Contact the seller, hopefully get a reply and work out a plan of action between the two of you. In the very least you should get some of your money back because that it's clearly not H. devamatha and I'm in agreement that it's H. himalayana. As lovely as himalayana are, you'd have paid way too much for it.
