I just love that metallic carapace, an amazingly beautiful T to look at. If anybody that reads this owns one then what's their husbandry like? Are they difficult to care for?
@Jon B Only males have the the strikingly colored carapaces and body. You keep them on moist, but not wet (I let it dry out before re-moistening it), substrate. They're not hard to care for at all, but their feeding response can be daunting. That and a lot of the species are nervous and will dart into their hide or flick hair. I'd get some experience with a big bulky NW first, like an LP, then go for a Pampho.
@Phormic28 for me is exactly the opposite..My female LP is very nervous, every time I feed her I have fauna at the floor...Me and my boyfriend got bitten!Really aggressive and she kicks lot of urticating hair!
