female G. pulchra

refilling the water dish is a great time for photos
@YagerManJennsen Agreed, my only gripe against these beauts. I have no idea where all the weight goes, because she eats as much as my G. pulchripes who are much larger. I guess looking good requires a lot of energy :)

@YagerManJennsen my pulchra sling is about 1" but is now molting for the second time since I got him/her in early October of this year. I expected to get a molt every 3-4+ months because I had heard they grow painfully slowly, but upon doing more research it seems like they grow pretty quickly until they hit the 2.5/3" mark. Obviously my experience is limited but it's growing much quicker than expected so far!

I have two that have moulted steadily about very six to eight weeks since I got them in the spring and have almost doubled in size during that time. They are both around the 1.5" mark now - Onyx might be a bit larger.
I have fed them both at the same rate - once every 5-7 days and they are kept at room temperature. They eat all the time unless they are about to moult - no fasting from them.
They are not as slow growing as previously thought.
