I was told this is a Brazilian black and white. Issue is, there are apparently two. Can anybody iD my baby MJ. He’s a little young, but hopefully his colors are in enough to tell. I’m leaning towards N. Coloratovillosus over A. Brocklehursti because I don’t see any striping on the legs.
Acanthoscuria usually have redder abdomens. Any other pics? The hairs are long so yea, could be nhandu. Both genus love to stuff their face with food LOL! I own both too... but need more pics.
I'd go Nhandu coloratovillosus based around the markings your tarantula is showing. Also and less important the common name that's often used for this species is Brazilian black and white. I also believe Acanthoscurria brocklehursti is no longer valid and that it's now seen as a species of A genic from a different locality
