We've had this guy ( I just say guy, not sure the gender yet) for couple months now. Very docile so far with only a few hairs kicked. Also tong feeds great! One of my favorites :)
I don't hold them to a ruler. So stating the size down the the very cm isn't relevant to me. It was close to 1/2 I'd say when I got now is close to 2 or more ish. Someone asked the sized and i referenced the best way I could.
NOTE: that is not a G. pulchripes, it is a N. chromatus but the size is still the same, I just don't have any personal pictures of a .5" G. pulchripes.
Here is a video about them from a very reputable source. He mentions the growth in the first minute.
1. to abstain from all food.
2.
to eat only sparingly or of certain kinds of food, especially as a religious observance
Well considering I don't think the T's are eating "only sparingly or of certain kinds of food, especially as a religious observance" then must be the first one right? He says his didn't eat. They sealed them selves off?
I'm not saying that my T will continue at this exact growth rate. I believe food and how much they eat does play a role though.
ive bred them and raised well over 100 to over 3".
no one said your t only molted twice....i said that in that amount of time 2-3 molts are the most you could possible see....mine all grew fast, but not even close to that fast.
