I have been caring for this little guy along with my others for over two months now. (S)he just molted today, causing me to search again for his potential species information. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
He can climb on glass and created a sheet like web.
@Salmon I am currently located in northwest ohio if that helps any. His body shape is rather similar to that of a wolf spider, except his abdomen is much slimmer and longer. The shed itself is ripped up and so small I am unable to get a good picture.
@Spidermolt He is for sure not a parson spider. He does not have any markings or patterns. His abdomen is a solid dark grey/black and his cephalothorax is a solid tan.
**edit: you are correct, he does look like a young Parson, however, he is already the same size as an adult and does not have the lighter patch on his abdomen.
@Ungoliant looking at more species, he does look a lot like a handful of ground spiders. However, all of the spiders he matches, almost identically, are found only in Sweden... What are the chances he flew over?
