Just above the vent between the forward pair of book lungs males will have a dense patch of setae called epiandrous fusillae that they use when making sperm webs. This patch usually looks different depending on the species - yours has one that is an upside down "U" shape with a lighter dot underneath. Females won't have this - instead they'll have a more pronounced "lip" with a smooth edge all the way across.
