B. Albopilosum in her new home.

I'd be cautious. I see that the roof is bowing up at the corners and creating gabs. Tarantulas are incredibly strong escape artists.

Good enclosure except for the top. Agree with miss moxie......a spider will use any crack to it's advantage when it comes to escaping. If the lid can't be fixed and you can afford it.........go to your local pet store or Wal-Mart and buy a critter keeper enclosure. I think they are around $20 to $30 dollars Canadian so a bit less maybe in the USA

@BCspiderman7 theyre a about 20-25 us. Id say fix it if not out of worry, for aesthetic. Kinda looks dumpy,no offense, with a warped top. Luckily for u the males tend to climb more, and if mine were in tht tank hed prolly be out lol but thts y i got a mesh top terrarium, cuz if he busts through, i can fix it easily with a screen tool for doors lol plus he has to work

@Spiderguy47 It can still squeeze out of it. They don't need much space to squeeze through, and if it's bowing up like that it means it's flexible. Flexible enough to get bigger if pushed against.

@Spiderguy47 It's being held by two latches that appear to be held in place with electrical tape... in fact, it looks like the corners are all held together with electrical tape as well.

This enclosure will work wonderfully until that tape wears off.

@miss moxie its held by hot glue. The tape is there to hide the glue. And I can't even move the gap with my hand without removing the latch, I highly doubt that the T can lift it.
