A.versicolor

@WeightedAbyss75 You must be absolutely crazy to think that looks like a P. irminia hah. I think Weighted Abyss has had one two or three too many tonight ;) That's still a sling. Its adult colors are slowly coming in on the abdomen it seems, assuming that's not lighting effect.

Maybe just a little ;) Just looked at the markings. Looking at it again, that blue isn't something to overlook. Need to learn my arboreals, although it kind of looks like an irminia with dark blue paintjob over the black and orange. Maybe that's just me. :)

It is about 2-2.5 inchs DLS and yeah it is just starting to show it's adult colors on the abdomen. I grabbed a shot when I was rehousing.

I did use a light box in the background to make it black out like that and a low power constant flash on the camera to prevent shadows.

@Trenor you'll be using your camera a lot more now. Almost each successive molt will provide something new. That's about the size mine displayed new colors

About the only time, I get good photos of the Aavics are when they are being rehoused. The rest of the time they are usually in their webs. It had already webbed up the new home so I guess it's happy.
