A. Chalcodes?

Not positive on the exact species. I guess it doesn't really matter but it would be nice to know what this wild caught girl is.
Looks like Aphonopelma chalcodes to me and almost certainly is if she was caught in Arizona south of the Colorado river. :)

@z32upgrader Glad to hear that! :) I got one myself last month, CB and ~8 years old, beautiful and with a bit of attitude -- perfect! ;) I'm hoping to find her a mate in the coming months, when males are out in search of action. :D

Unless you go to Arizona, you'll only find A. anax, hentzi, or something else in Texas. Chalcodes are only in AZ.

@z32upgrader Indeed! And I hope to find some those myself, especially A. anax! :)
Peter of BugsInCyberspace is going to procure some A. chacoldes males for me -- he has connections in AZ.
Sorry, how I worded it did sound like I intended to catch them myself! :embarrassed: Someday I'd love to take a long road trip through New Mexico, Arizona and up through California, collecting tarantulas and millipedes. :D
