Thought I'd share some photos of this lovely spider. I found her at about 6000' elevation in the Catalina Mountains (Pima Co., AZ) under a rock back in December. I recently rehoused her into a larger enclosure and a few days later, she laid an eggsac. Over the last few days she's added more and more debris to the outside, I'm guessing in an attempt to camouflage it. Just thought some of y'all would find this interesting!
Looking very gravid!
Eggsac spotted yesterday morning
The eggsac that afternoon
This morning, looking very protective!
This afternoon, with all sorts of debris added.
