    It's from this article.

Evidently a Phoneutria spp stowed away in a carton of food from Brazil to Germany and proceeded to wreak havoc in a grocery store, and possibly the German countryside.

Assuredly it is not busy searching for food and water but is in fact stalking carefree farm girls who foolishly skip through the countryside unaware of the horror that lurks just inches away. :wicked:

I doubt it would survive the German climate for very long, although it is summer there at the moment I believe...

Warm enough for it to thrive in West Europe now :) This must be the infamous P.bonerensis :)

It was changed to P.erectus in 1996 acutally.

    I thought P.erectus was a junior synonym???? :D
