went ahead and purchased my first centipede from a buddy, S. Dehaani. Lil dude is gorgeous!

I se him up in a glass vase with a vented lid, it's wide enough for it to stretch 1/2 of its diameter, but has about 6 inches of coco fiber as substrate and a hide with a prestarted tunnel that it dug right into and ran a lap around to the bottom.

Btw, they are always a bit reclusive at first. I found, at least with my pedes, that they come out more and more as time goes by. My morsitans hasn't gone underground to my knowledge for over a year (and yes, he could burrow if he wants, he just chooses not to).
