What is the coolest, most prized T you have/had? I wana know what and why it is your favorite. or if you dont have one, list them all! Just wondering. I only own one, and only for a few months but it has been so much fun to have and watch. so my favorite would have to be my 2.5-3" H. Lividum. very beautiful, very fast and has an attitude. let me know!

I am totally in love with my P. Ornata, it is my pride and joy, due to the fact that it was my first Old World given to me and my first pokie, the size Mental is at, at the moment after her molt a few weeks ago she is almost pitch black, and I can sit and look at her for hours, Mental is just over 3cm at the moment.

Next would have to be my Rosea, Jami is an absolute joy and I enjoy handeling her, she is just about over 2cm and RFC, she frustrates me when she is on her fasting sprees, but also gives me a good giggle when she goes into her little warning pose, as if the cricket is going to notice that when it gets to close to Jami.

:clown:

Then it is my Curly, Jessi, what a vicious little monster she is, just over 5cm, since I had her I have handled her only three times, because that is one very moody Curly for you, but at the same time she gives me such joy, more so when she it is feeding time and while still muching on a cricket, I wet her peat, and she will attack the water, trying to catch it.

:mask:

Then it is my little Feather Leg, Lee, just a little ninja, always hiding, just over 2cm, and when Lee is out you almost fall on your back, but don't under estimate Lee, her food is no match for her, she takes on any size, without hesitation, but my second Old World, and looking forward to seeing Lee bloom into a beauty as she grows.

:ninja:

I would have to say my P. tigrinawesseli. Pokies in general are my favorite, but this species is gorgeous! I can't wait till my girl is big enough to breed.

I think my favorite would have to be my B albiceps female. She's so stocky and I love her colors. She's always so calm and chilled. I think she's the bee's knees! :)

Euathlus sp. "blue femur" (pulcherrimaklaasi)
Award for one of the most colorful terrestrials (blue, green, purple, blue, gold, green, silver, grey hues all depending on lighting) and quite rare, too. Can't wait until Dr. Perez-Miles or Dr. Bertani finish reclassification of these properly. Easy to take care of, beautiful to look at, extremely slow growthrate.

P. irminia / E. murinus / P. subfusca "lowland"
Award for awesome contrast in coloration! 'nuff said!

Avicularia spp. (personally purpurea / versicolor / juruensis / minatrix)
Award for temptation: Hard to resist the "fluffballs" and a lot with beautiful colorations and calm temper

P. cambridgei
Award for being almost always annoyed at the slightest disturbance (she's nuts!)

Euathlus sp. "red" / "fire" / "flame" (one and the same T)
Award for slowest grower (Age: 1 year+ | Size: 0.5-1")
Award for being probably the most calm T out there (perfect spider to cure arachnophobia with in my opinion)

I like my H maculata sling because it makes nice tube webs/burrows and molts a lot.

I love my 2 GBB slings they are on display more than the rest of my slings and they make beautiful webbing all over the place. Not to mention how wonderful it is to see them after every molt!

My coolest spiders at the moment would be:

Chilobeachys discolus
Haplopelma lividum
Haplopelma minax
Monocentropus lambertoni

Because they are in the freezer....

Honestly even though my B. smithi is beautiful I prefer my G. rosea Nimhe because she is just more interesting to watch and is way less defensive. Hopefully somebody will see tarantula on my Christmas list and will let me get one so I'll have another! lol

Probably my MF L violaceopes. I love her color and her overall leggy look. And I like her defensiveness. A close second and almost polar opposite is my MF Euathlus sp Red. She is so calm. I love it.

Top three but I'm not sure what order. So tied for first.

P. irminia. Alexis
Even though I hardly see her, so I like to handle her when she comes out to play and she just beautiful.

A. Versi. Mildred
I love her webs. Right now, its all the way up the back side of her enclosure and growing.

G. Rosea. Samus
She's so chill and I always catch her in some weird pose. She likes the packing peanut I gave her. She was hugging it on her side this morning.
