Awesome! When I first spotted it, I had thought Kukulcania, but upon further examination it looked completely different! Haha, very much appreciated thank you!This beautiful spider belongs to the genus Titiotus, a member of the false wolf spider family (Zoropsidae).
It's endemic to California and frequently mistaken for male Kukulcania and the recluse spider (Loxosceles).
WOW, that would be nice to find.A very cool genus. The largest species-T fresno- can exceed 4" in legspan
They can be found around shaver lake, sometimes they enter cabins there. there's actually a pic of one on bugguide on a mirrorWOW, that would be nice to find.
