Okay I just got a handheld black light and intend on catching myself a scorp sometime this year no matter how far I gotta travel. Anyways I always tought that all scorps glow under black light but in a recent post I read that "most scorps" glow under UV. I just want to know which ones DONT glow. I also noticed that different scorps glow different colors. My emps and H.spins are all a grenish hue. My H.paucidens is a blueish hue, deathstalker one glows orange and deathstalker 2 glows yellow, and all my little V.spins glow orange. Idunno I thinks its pretty damn kool.

in that post it was corrected by 'skinheaddave' that that post and the original post were in error. At present there are no known scorpions that do not fluoresce, they all glow. The original poster in the old thread was using a weak BL and had the erroneous data.

Hope that clears up some confusion.

GL on your scorpion hunt... ;)
