Kind of funny really. I've been seeing these all over the house for years, and i've finally seen a pic and i'd these little spiders in my basement and found out their venomous. Anybody ever heard of them? How bad is the venom? They only get about 1/2- 3/4in. and can run pretty fast for their size. Seem to be arboreal too, and make these neat little retreats out of web.

Never mind, I just was looking it up, and the pics look different to the one I seen before. Guess I was wrong. The ones in my basement are an overall pale yellow and have a pale green abdomen.

There is a degree of color variation with this species. I have had individuals with yellow, peach, and green abdomens. As with T's, the coloration depends on the individual, and proximity until/ after a molt. This website has a great page on Cheiracanthium sac spiders, which includes a pretty good pic.
