Once my emp caught a cricket and when he squeezed it with its pedipalps, all its guts and insides splattered on the glass, It was difficult to clean afterwards but it was a good show.

Well not really, I live in Monterrey, its a valley, there should be scorpions near the mountains but there are mostly natural reserves so you cant go catch scorps , besides ive never seen one in the wild, but there are other parts of mexico like durango and other desert type areas were you can find thousands of scoprions in like 100 squared meters.
I myself own right now 3 emps and I want to get an uroplectes planimanus but i dunno where to get one. :?

Yeah mexico harbours a lot of centruroides species. (8 dangerous ones) and a lot of the bothriuridae family i believe.
I have been in Nayarit/jalisco mexico. It is a notorious scorpions state but i couldn't find anything over there unforunatly.
