Hi,

Today 2 new diadema's arrived; adult male & female.
Male looks fine but on close inspection to the female it seems like she has some sort of very round swelling on the right side of her opisthosoma - it looks green unlike pictures of cysts I've seen on tarantulas.
I guess I should message the breeder fella with this info in case she dies?
If anyone else has been in this situation I'd be so grateful if you could shed some light?

Also, would it be dangerous to introduce a juvenile to this pair or would they be like to eat it?

Thank you.

Bulging areas of the pleural membrane are defects but not necessarily harmful as those I've seen were caused by genetics, not damage, like mis-segmentation. A juvenile would probably last for a while but eventually would be killed.
