WoooHooo!! We Have Babies...

Well as you know i posted a few pics of my female Emp scorp asking if she looked gravid, i was sure she was.. Well alittle while ago i went to give her water and crix and sure enough shes given birth, she has 3 on deck and one in under carrage, they are pretty big for newborn scorplings i think there cute even though there white... Just wanted to share with everyone... Shes still very fat so i hope she has few more.... woooooohooooo..... When shes all done and settled for awhile il give you a update tally on how many babies she had.......

Well up to 6 on deck and still more under her.. hard to get a count as i really dont want to bother her all that much.. gona see if i can get my girlfriend over in a day or so and take pics.. Il be back later with a total on the babies....=D

Ok now we have 9 on deck and still some being craddled, shes finaly looking alittle thinner, what i wana know is how long does it take for a emp to give birth to all her babies..

It can take up to a day or two.

Thanks Dave, well shes got 10 on deck and what looks to be 2 or 3 in the craddle, im gona check her again in the morn.. i made sure the cage was nice and warm and humidity up.. shes doin great for a mommy... I still think there cute even though there ugly white blob scorplings... LOL!!!!!!!=D

Ok checked on her few min ago and she appears to be done now with the birthing, shes got what i could count 13 or 14 babies there was one or so under her and she was eatting something, sure hope it wasnt a baby, now if she had one that wasnt right she would eat that i asume right?? Now that shes done when do i feed her and should i drop a dead crix in front of her or live one?? I have plenty diffrent size crix i can use.. i have all kinds diffrent feeder prey wax worms and such.. I just want to make sure im doing everything right for her, shes in a room away from noise and traffic in a dark area..
