Wolf spiders bitter end

I clicked on this thread wondering if it was a wolf spider in a Parasteatoda web. Indeed!

You never know what you'll find in a tangle web, but it's often much larger than the web's creator!

The Parasteatoda tepidariorum on my porch have taken out many spiders. (I think they are in a contest with the spitting spiders to see who can eat the most spiders.)

Parasteatodas are beasts :smug: they've been recorded taking down blue tailed skinks!

My parastatoda? was a tank she annihilated massive numbers of prey untill she met her end in the jaws of a relatively small cricket
