She's a female.
She produced an eggsack last night!
Photos of the eggsack will follow.

Anyone knows how long does it take before the youbgs will emerge from the sack?

That is very cool!!

I captured one the other night, and she is now in a critter keeper :) I hope she is gravid, b/c I would like to see her w/ an eggsac :) How long does it take them to hatch??

I have only seen one w/ babies crawling all over her back, and it was so moving :p

It could tear up a person!

hmm,do wolf spiders get this big ? :?

There are species in the Canary Islands that can reach 6 inches in legspan. Awesome spiders.

Ok, I don't know a ton about these things or anything, but I've got a bit of experience.

We caught a spider that looks very much like yours. We've had it about six weeks now. We made a nice home for it and all. A week after we caught it, the egg sac popped up. Then it didn't really do anything for a month. Then it hatched out a bunch of kids. We never really got a good count of them all, but there were a lot of them.

After they hatched, she started doing her thing again. Eating, building a home, etc...

But then a week after that, another egg sac popped up....

It may not happen that way all the time, but be prepared for a ton of little ones hanging around.

I may not have answered any/all of your questions, but that's my experience.

Good luck,
Roach

Oh, and ours is about, (not completely sure about the centimeter conversion) but it's around 1 1/8th inches (28.575) head to... well ass. And about 3 3/4 inches (85.725) legspan.
