Wolf spider help!!!!

My female Hogna carolinensis is showing odd behavior. In her tank I have a hollow half-log (not a complete tube, the log arches over the substrate) and she has completely walled up one side. I can see in thanks to the other side being against the glass tank, but I'm a little worried. Is she getting ready to molt or die? Just wanted some privacy?

When most spiders do that, they lay an egg sack. Spiders don't really build themselves resting areas where they can pass to the land of infinite crickets.
