i recently rescued a wolf spider from my office. i have had her for about a week. this morning i looked and she had burrowed into the substrate and was laying an egg sac. how long will it take for the slings to emerge? what should i do in the mean time? how many slings should i expect? she is in a small critter keeper, is this enough space for the slings and her until they molt? she isnt able to climb the slick surface of the keeper walls. will the slings be able to? please help.

Often, they will eat their sacs, especially if stressed while brooding. If she doesn't, initially they'll climb on mom's back. Eventually, they'll start dispersing. At that point, the Kritter keeper will not contain them. The babies are small enough to climb the walls, plus they will spin profuse amounts of silk.
