Well, I ordered a portable black light off of E-bay, It should be here in a week. I also bought 12 plastic shoe boxes and 10 little plastic containers for catching the scorps in. I broke out my old combat boots to protect me from the snakes, and I put red filters in two flashlights (red because scorps can't see it and it doesn't mess up my night vision). I recruted my younger brother to come help. I also have decided on the best spot for my first search. It is in the foothills of our mountains, full of boulders.

I dont know how I'm going to last a week.

There are two stores in Santa Fe, "Wet Pets" and "Pete's Pets" who either carry exotic species or can get them. I definitely reccomend you talk to Rick at "Wet Pets" he's wonderful. Also, to answer your first question, I am pretty sure you can find Hadrurus around Las Cruces, (lower altitude, sandier desert) but don't hold me to it :) I did find an exoskeleton up by Las Vegas of a very small Centruroides. Good Luck hunting :)
