Wild Moss

I have moss growing on my maple trees here in eastern Oregon. If i wash and quarantine for 24 hrs can I use this instead of sphagnum in my Tarantula enclosures?

How big and what species is your T? Generally, I wouldn't use live moss for T enclosures, at least not if you plan to keep the moss alive as it'll need a lot of moisture.

Yeah, the moss wont survive....but it should be usable....I have some moss from the woods in a couple enclosures.
