Thank you. I totally forgot juveniles have the markings on their back. I also found an assassin bug I can’t identify.

I just found this spider on my fence and I was wondering what species, subspecies, or morph this one is. I usually find western black widows with solid black or brown widow. I was also wondering if it could be a hybrid of both?
Sub adult L. hesperus

Ya, drive space is still expensive. Especially now, holy crap. Only thing I would say when shooting them, have every precaution. Even a Wheel Bugs sting is Horrible.

Yeah, I was five feet away and zoomed in. I found giant canyon isopods, wolf spiders, and a couple mantis. My yard is perfect for inverts. I wish I lived in the high desert though because a friend always finds scorpions at her house.
